Qualifications

Richard Flutie is a Degreed ‘Professional Photographer of America’.    He has won the ‘Kodak Photographer of The Year’ Award in professional judging and competition in Massachusetts. He has 30 years experience shooting sports action for magazines, newspapers. He specifically shoots for clients who have expressed a desire to obtain a unique image of their events.  Additionally, Richard has toured professionally as part of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  As part of this tour, he taught professional photographers at multiple PPA Districts. 

Typical Sports he has covered for clients are: Baseball, football, basketball, soccer, softball, archery, wave running, surfing, track & field, cheer leading, tennis and competitive swimming.  His action sport images have been published in ‘The Official Little League World Series Program’, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, The Framingham News, The Melbourne Times, Brevard Magazine, ‘The South Beaches ‘Pigskin’ Magazine and the Orlando Sentinel.  He has had the cover of The Professional Photographers of America Magazine for his images and instruction on ‘Wrap Around Lighting’.
